Subject Recruitment

Research Participants Needed!

We, the Translational Neurotechnology Lab at the University of Freiburg, are in constant need of participants for various ongoing Electroencephalography (EEG) studies. For every completed visit, subjects will receive a reimbursement of approx. €10 per hour for their time. The experiments usually involve a six-hour visit, with a lunch break included.

The study participants are commonly required to solve easy tasks, while we record their brain activity with non-invasive EEG (dry- or gel-type). Examples of our research group’s interests are: the neuronal reaction to unexpected events, the neuronal pattern of different semantic word classes, or neuronal activity patterns during virtual-reality, everyday tasks.

An MRI measurement might be realized prior to the experiments, depending on requirements.

The experiments are approved by the Ethics Committee of the University of Freiburg. None of the tests are harmful.

If you are interested in taking part in one of our studies, please subscribe to our mailing list using the e-mail address below. As opportunities arise, we will contact you via e-mail with all the information about the study and the options to sign up. You will be given a chance to select a suitable date.
